Well, you know it’s the end of the decade and what a blow out it’s been! And 2010 has been bright and shiny with great stuff at Scout66.com Since we flipped the model traffic has increased over 700% and we’ve added more than six times as many reviews of live shows in just four months. That is a Hail Mary!

Please check out the top three reviews of the year at http://Scout66.com among the many others:

Turnpike Troubadours Light Up the Blue Light Live by Alyssa Davis
Steel Magnolia Outshines Brad Paisley and Darius Rucker by R.N.C.
Naturally 7 by @ellepiari

There are lots of great reviews and not just from the US, but Australia, Britain, Canada, and Switzerland too, so please check out all the great contributions made by people who go out and pay to see great live music.

Not to be confused with our review site, this blog has exploded with some great traffic as well on topics from the flood in Nashville, to Prince Poppycock on America’s Got Talent. But the most often read posts are about the industry itself.

By a landslide the two leading posts are:
Scout66.com is Flipping the Model: Fan UP
#MM Feature: Music Management

The data and trends in what people really want to know about in the music biz are fascinating. The styles of music people gravitate toward are quite surprising; and music-related stories are a constant source of intrigue. Twenty Ten had a ring to it; but Two Zero, One, One is kinda like a poker hand. Let’s bet big and go for it. Happy New Year to each and every one of you.
